This Veronica is highly valued due to its long flowering period, August to November. It has narrow pointed attractive leaves that reach 2.5 cm Flowers are pale lavender and eventually fade to white. Can reach a height of 1.5 m.
Is found in forest margins, lowland scrub, coastal sites and riverbanks. Is impressive in mass plantings and grows easily from cuttings. Clip back after flowering. It is a hardy plant that is quick growing and will cope in exposed windy conditions. Just right for Wellington conditions.
